how i'm chasing whimsy this week
I can’t believe this series has been going all year and that it’s already time to wrap it up to make room for something new. I haven’t decided what that is yet—maybe a weekly craft (to bring back Craftboard Confessional), or maybe simply a side quest of the week. But we shall see where the whim takes me.
I started this series as a way to sit back and simply notice. To take a pause in the middle of life to have some fun and follow my heart. I wanted to find creativity in daily life and cultivate a consistent writing practice. I think this series has done that and more.
So, here are some small joys I’m finding this week:
Finishing an entire book in one sitting.
Making homemade frozen yogurt.
Hanging up my phone at night like the old days.
Lighting the fancy candle for no reason.
Collaging with old issues of Vogue.
It’s been so fun bringing a little whimsy to your inbox every week. If you have any thoughts on what you’d like to read from me next, feel free to drop a comment. Until next time, keep it whimsical, friends.
