whimsy wednesday: march 4
how i'm chasing whimsy this week.
The Wednesdays come and they don’t stop coming or whatever that lyric is. And here we are again, another installment of whimsy for your reading pleasure.
This week, my whimsy feels rooted in looking ahead. In planning. In planting seeds — both metaphorical and literal — and in softly settling into the spring waiting just ahead of us. It’s the feeling of the sun shining on your face while there’s still a slight chill in the air. The coziness of winter slowly loosening its grip, making room for the quiet promise of spring just ahead.
Decluttering my craft supplies and donating them to a local free art closet.
Wandering the local garden nursery and giggling at silly produce names.
Planning our annual Oscar’s party complete with punny food names (Michael Brie Jordan anyone?)
Paying an Etsy tarot reader for a random one question reading.
Buying fun yarn to knit a pair of socks (bonus points because the shop was called Coven of Stitches).
How are you chasing whimsy this week?
